Two simple principles for women in ministry: (1) greatly involved; (2) limit is elder function
Everything Women Can and Can't Do According to the Bible: Women in Ministry part 13
02:53:36 – 02:54:36
Mike states the two governing principles for all ministry questions.
Principle 1: Women are to be greatly involved in ministry as a rule. Women can even choose ministry over marriage (1 Corinthians 7). This rules out leaving ministry only to men. Principle 2: The limit is anything that starts becoming the elder function — both the title and the unique function (teaching with authority). Not everything an elder does, but the stuff ONLY an elder does.
