Teaching Christian doctrine at conferences and Bible colleges — probably permissible
Everything Women Can and Can't Do According to the Bible: Women in Ministry part 13
03:32:24 – 03:35:55
Mike addresses women teaching theology outside Sunday services.
A Christian teacher who doesn't have the title or function of elder yet teaches theology demonstrably exists. Michael Heiser example: a scholar who taught publicly about theology, was NOT an elder, and delighted in not being one. If he had been 'Michelle Heiser' doing the same things, it wouldn't violate anything because the role itself wasn't an elder role. Seminary professors are not like elders. They're not answering questions about settings that didn't exist in Paul's day. Mike leans on the side of more liberty, fearing restriction of gifts and weakening of women.
