The logic: Paul has been discussing Genesis 2 (v.13) and Genesis 3 (v.14) — Genesis 3:15 is the very next relevant verse, containing the first Messianic prophecy. Paul naturally connects Eve's transgression to Eve's salvation through the promised seed.
