Mike summarizes his confidence levels on the various views of v.15.

Mike states he cannot assign the same confidence to his interpretation of v.15 as he can to vv.11-14. He believes: (1) It's NOT about being saved from death or pain in childbirth; (2) It's NOT about being saved in spite of labor pains; (3) He personally believes it refers to Christ (the Messianic view) and thinks he made a strong case; (4) It may alternatively refer to the importance of a woman's role, with salvation attending (not caused by) faithful role-fulfillment; (5) Either way, it affirms women's full status as coheirs and 'sons of God' in Christ — the common NT pattern of affirming women's high status whenever gender roles are discussed.
