Mike's key rebuttal: the egalitarian 'curse reversal' argument depends entirely on Genesis 2 having NO authority differences -- but Genesis 2 clearly does, so the argument fails.

Was Women's Submission Just a Curse to Be Overturned? Women in Ministry part 2 02:02:15 – 02:03:15

Why the egalitarian curse-reversal argument fails

Mike argues that all egalitarian 'curse reversal' arguments depend on the premise that Genesis 2 contains no authority difference between Adam and Eve. Since Mike has shown Genesis 2 does contain such indications (creation order, naming, Eve made for Adam), the egalitarian interpretation of Genesis 3:16 as purely a curse to be overturned collapses. If pre-fall design included authority differences, the curse can't be the origin of that authority.

Eph 5:22 and Mutual Submission

The mutual and reciprocal nature of hypotasso in Eph 5:21 makes a hierarchical reading of v22 semantically incoherent. Paul cannot establish one-to-another voluntary submission and then immediately mean one-directional hierarchy without breaking the logic of his own passage.

Did God Give Up On The Woman

Many people think that God was especially hard on Eve after she was deceived by the serpent in the garden. In fact hierarchists have determined that God was so hard on Eve by punishing her with a multitude of lashes for her sin, that some might get the idea that God punished the one who was deceived

@Wictor2501 @DarkVanTil @McMuffin11111 @Eric_Conn @iliketopreach Gen 3:16 doesn’t say “and thy desire shall be to RULE thy husband…” Why does everyone insert rule there? God prophesies that Eve won’t
