Acts 16:15 refutes host-as-leader: Lydia hosted Paul immediately after conversion
Mike applies the host-as-leader test to Lydia.
Lydia was just baptized and immediately invited Paul and his companions to stay at her house. Under the host-as-leader theory, she would be an overseer of the church the moment she got saved, which contradicts Paul's own instruction not to lay hands on recent converts. NT Wright claimed 75% certainty that hosting meant leadership.
