When Peter was delivered from prison, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John Mark, where many were gathered praying. Under the host-as-leader theory, Mary would automatically be the church leader. Belleville calls Lydia and Nympha and Mary 'house church overseers' based on these passages, but Mike argues this is forced upon the text.
