Counterargument: 'well-known among the apostles' proves too much given their obscurity

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 00:16:51 – 00:18:22

Mike offers a significant rebuttal to the highest-sense reading.

If Andronicus and Junia were not just apostles but more notable than other apostles, this 'proves too much.' They never appear in the Gospels, Acts, or any other epistle — only this one mention in Romans 16. If they outranked well-known apostles, their total absence from the rest of the NT is striking. This is an argument from silence, but a justified one because 'you would expect noise' about such prominent apostles. In Galatians 2, Paul names Peter, James, and John as pillars — not Andronicus and Junia.
