The egalitarian 'trump card' of Junia as apostle does not work

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 00:29:31 – 00:30:01

Mike's interim conclusion before moving to the Greek syntactical argument.

The frequent egalitarian claim that 'Junia was an apostle, so women can hold any leadership role' is based on very little information that likely means something different than what egalitarians need it to mean. Even if she was an apostle, she would need to have had teaching authority over men — and there is no reason to conclude she did. This does not force a rethinking of 1 Timothy 2.
