Big picture point 1: The Law had a beginning—it did not exist for Adam, Noah, Abraham, or Cain and Abel

The Law of Moses had a specific starting point. Deuteronomy 5:2 states the Horeb covenant was made with those then living, not with their fathers. Galatians 3:17 confirms the Law came 430 years after Abraham's covenant with God. Pre-Mosaic figures like Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Noah, and Abraham were not under the Law of Moses.
