Anxiety about eschatology (pre/mid/post-trib) is unnecessary — Christians are called to live ready for a full lifetime of service

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 25) 00:09:41 – 00:12:47

Responding to a question about hoping Jesus does not return until after the questioner has died, due to eschatological anxiety

Mike encourages not knowing the timing of Christ's return as a feature, not a bug. The one sign to watch for is the abomination of desolation. Every generation before ours has lived out a full lifetime. Humility demands acknowledging Jesus could return in 1000 years as easily as tomorrow. The correct posture is to be ready to serve Christ for a full life while remaining joyful if He returns immediately. The anxiety is misplaced because you are not meant to know.
