Feminist/liberation theology reading of Scripture as anachronistic eisegesis

When you bring philosophical commitments from feminism or liberation theology into your reading of Scripture, you produce an anachronistic reading — the Bible becomes a document about whatever social issues you are focused on, regardless of whether the original author would have agreed. This is eisegesis (reading into the text) rather than exegesis (reading out of the text).
