Du Toit systematically changes key gospel texts: John 1:12 ("become children of God" → you're already God's offspring), John 3:3 (born again → you were already born from above), John 3:18 (condemned already → under your own self-judgment).

John 1:12 ESV: "He gave the right to BECOME children of God." Mirror: "God gives the assurance that they are indeed his offspring." The word "become" is replaced with realization of existing status. John 3:3 ESV: "Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Mirror: "The very fact that it's possible to perceive that I am in union with God reveals mankind's genesis from above." Born again is turned into "you were already born from above." John 3:7: "You must be born again" → "The fact that you physically exist is proof that you are already born of the spirit." This is a complete inversion. John 3:18: "Whoever does not believe is condemned already" → no divine condemnation, only self-imposed judgment from "feudal efforts to define themselves through personal performance." 1 John 3:9-10: children of the devil → "diabolos fruit" because Du Toit can't accept that anyone isn't God's child.
