Ephesians 5 doesn't match Paul's style when he writes for evangelistic/cultural purposes

Have We Misunderstood "Wives Submit"? Women in Ministry part 9 01:55:10 – 01:58:13

Mike contrasts Ephesians 5 with passages where Paul explicitly adapts for cultural reasons.

In 1 Corinthians 9:20, Paul describes becoming 'all things to all people' for evangelism -- but those accommodations involved things he clearly taught elsewhere were not binding (Sabbath, food laws, law of Moses). In Ephesians 5, there's no such disclaimer. Paul doesn't say 'in Christ it doesn't matter who submits' or 'for the sake of reaching Romans, follow their traditions.' Ephesians reads as straightforward instructions for all Christians, not cultural accommodation.
