Soft evidence that Miriam prophesied to men and women
Miriam's complaint in Numbers 12 ('has not the Lord spoken to us also?') implies God spoke through her to the people in general, not just women. If God had only spoken to her in limited ways while speaking to Aaron more broadly, her challenge of Moses's authority wouldn't make sense. This is soft evidence that Miriam prophesied to both men and women.
