Paul's fourth argument: nature gives women long hair as a covering (verses 13-15)
Mike explains the argument from nature for head coverings.
Paul appeals to nature (physis): women's hair naturally grows longer (biologically true -- longer life cycle, plus male pattern baldness). Hair is 'like a covering,' so a cloth covering extends that same reality. Nature supplied women with naturally longer hair as 'glory'; head coverings honor her metaphorical head just as her long hair honors her. Paul's concern throughout is to preserve gender order.
