Egalitarians consistently ignore or absorb verse 9 into verse 8

Mike demonstrates the pattern of egalitarian avoidance of verse 9.

Egalitarian view of verse 8: man is woman's source, which is balanced by verses 11-12 (woman is man's source too), making it egalitarian. But this doesn't explain why Paul asks for different head covering practices. Most egalitarian commentators simply don't deal with verse 9 at all. Mike found only three who do: Philip Payne, Gordon Fee, and Craig Keener.
