Romans 16:7 text and the translation debate on Junia

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 00:04:40 – 00:05:11

Mike reads the ESV translation of Romans 16:7 and introduces the translation controversy.

ESV reads 'well known to the apostles' (minority translation). NASB reads 'outstanding among the apostles.' The key question is whether Andronicus and Junia are being called apostles (inclusive) or merely known by the apostles (exclusive). Junia and Andronicus were probably a married couple.
