Part 3: The circumcision-baptism parallel argument for infant baptism introduced

A Biblical Analysis of Infant Baptism 00:29:39 – 00:31:10

Winger introduces the strongest paedo-baptist argument: baptism parallels circumcision as a covenant sign.

The argument: circumcision was the covenant sign in the OT and was applied to infant boys; baptism is the covenant sign in the NT; therefore baptism should be applied to infants as well, initiating them into the covenant community. Winger finds the reasoning confusing when pressed — what does it mean for baptized children to be "in the covenant"? Are they saved? What about unbaptized children? He asks listeners to clarify these questions in the comments.
