Key observations: (1) 'Heart' in the OT often translates Hebrew words for inner organs (bowels) — a body-part metaphor for deep feeling and commitment, not a precisely defined spiritual faculty; (2) 'Mind' may refer to cognitive content, 'heart' to commitments and orientation, but Mike qualifies this heavily; (3) 'Spirit' and 'soul' notoriously overlap — sometimes used interchangeably, sometimes distinctly — must be interpreted contextually.
