Keep it simple, seems to be the way to go. If you are gifted in a certain area, why not use it for common good, how hard can it be!

I have sometimes wondered if the wise men were actual Jewish scholars living east of Israel, IE not pagans.

Great DVD Set!!
I have seen most of DVD 1 and both sections of DVD 2 🙂 Awesome, some things are hard to grasp though. I think I should see them some more times.
Anyways I noted what seemed to me as an appeal to the word “mystery” in 1 Tim 3:16 as being used in the modern sense, like something which is hard to grasp, ie just accept it.
But the word mystery many times in the Bible in stead of carrying the modern sense of the word, instead means revealed truth, of what once used to be a mystery, but now is revealed through Christ or His Apostles.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Tim 3:16).

Its very interesting indeed that Genesis 2:8 and 2:19 should be translated as they are intended as sequential within the account in chapter 2. Have you made the translation committee of the NIV aware of this? Are there any English translations which has a correct translation of Genesis 2:8 and 2:19?

It wasn’t difficult to hear that Matt got frustrated and angry, its a common reaction I guess when your beliefs are challenged and especially when you have such a good case.
There were delivered some low blows, but you took them gracefully, cudos to you. I like it when you compliment Matt for all the good he has done and is doing, keep on doing that.

A little correction to the above “crawling to” -> “crawling through”.
Also I disagree with two of the teachings on the DVD-set “The New Apostolic Reformation” and also in his book “Finish The race – A Study On Christian Maturity”:
- That a Christian can be eternally lost (get unsaved somehow and go to Hell)
- That Women cannot minister
Anyway the rest seems to be good.

Nice little article it reminds me of the question “which came first the chicken or the egg”, now I see clearly the answer, it was God who was first, then the chicken then the egg, to follow the above in analogy.
